Planescape in Other Systems

GM desperately seeking acronym!

Munin's picture

I'm in dire need of an acronym!

I'm working on a planar campaign, the basic premises is that a new law enforcement agency is being created in Sigil. Its an interplanetary agency that will investigate crimes committed in Sigil, they will have jurisdiction all over the multiverse (on paper at least, enforcing it will probably be sketchy at best but hey, RP opportunities en masse) so no criminal breaking the laws of Sigil will be safe!

The players will of course be drafted into this agency, with promises of power, money, jurisdiction, backing/funding, and so on...

Planescape in Pathfinder: Character Traits for the Planes

Gerzel's picture

I am just putting out a quick post to say that I am working up a list of starting traits for various planes when playing Planescape under the Pathfinder rules. The traits are from a free add-on to pathfinder and you can download the pdf here: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/resources

The rules are similar enough to 3.5 that you should understand most of what everything means if you don't have pathfinder but do know 3 or 3.5.

Summer Campaign run with Pathfinder: Advice wanted

Gerzel's picture

Hello all, been a long time since I posted to these forums but now I'm thinking of running a tabletop Planescape game over the summer at a local game shop in Raleigh called Game Theory using the Pathfinder rules.

Right now I'm still brainstorming plot and outlining what I want out of the game. I've already decided that the starting level will be around 5th to allow for more powerful planar races as PCs. It will be post faction war.

Al-Qadim Cosmology&Afterlife

I am hardly wondering for a quite long time HOW ARE WORKING planes involved with Zakhara' people beliefs?

Let's see. Most important in Land of Fate is obviously belief in rule, force etc. called Fate and that's true, everyone approve that. Things get complex when we are talking about their enlightened deities called Great Gods. They are above manners of alignment, są they are nor good nor evil nor lawful nor chaotic.
Well..

  • Monsters (constructs, living constructs, mechanoids)
  • Divinities and Domains
  • Tech types and traits (I got this one pretty much done, but could use review)
  • Campaign ideas or setting elements to utilize tech concepts

I will begin with some information on Modro

Optional Rules for Races in Mage: Planescape

Clueless's picture

ImageOne mephit minion in particular pointed out, in his wisdom, that he happened to have some alternate rules for Planar Races that went along with O'Rance's conversion for Planescape to Mage. After much negotiaion, and some obligatory begging (you know how mephits are) - I'm lucky to present Matthew Rees's approach to the Planar Races in the Storyteller system.

Conversion Guide for Mage - Part 2 - DMG

Clueless's picture

ImageMore of Mr. O'Rance's work has been found in the eddies of the Astral where it vanished to. My mephit minions located the Mage-DMG, so I'm happy to present to you the second half of the Conversion Guide for Planescape to Mage the Ascension.

A while ago I was emailed a copy of a conversion for Planescape to Mage: the Ascension. At the time I had no idea who the author was, so it took quite awhile for me to track down Mr. James O'Rance. I recently got in touch with Mr. O'Rance and he graciously gave us permission to host his work.

HERO Games Janus Aran has put together a conversion for Planescape (in 2nd and 3.x formats) to his preferred system: HERO. Here you will find Janus's conversion guide for Planescape to HERO, the first in our efforts to bring the Planes to other systems.
