The First Tree Tells Intertwined Tales Of Hardship Through A Fox's Journey

http://indiegames.com/2017/09/the_first_tree_tells_intertwin.html

Quote:
A mother fox trying to find her missing cubs. A man reconnecting with his childhood and his father after a time of loss. These stories will connect as players control the fox on a heartrending, but poignant, journey across a beautiful woodland in The First Tree.

Players will explore an ever shifting wilderness, walking through woods, through fields of blowing grass, across still ponds, and into the moonlit night, taking in their surroundings while finding pieces of memories that belong to the man. In this way, both of their stories come together over the course of the adventure, creating a connection through familial ties that will bring their sad, but powerful journeys together.

The First Tree is short, but its exploration of death and coming to understand it is no less heart-wrenching in its duration. So don't play it before work just because you have some time. Unless you like your co-workers asking what you've been crying about, that is.

2nd update for today, Sarah

2nd update for today, Sarah Slean, The Cosmic Ballet

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiG-HqcqEEc

"One said April is the cruelest month
when worn out promises return,
but there's more wisdom in the iris bud
than all our centuries of words,
see as the flower opens
what is there to say?
Oh, hear the vow unspoken
in its sweet decay
this eternity of ebb and flowing,
oh the cosmic ballet ...
all my life I tried to kill this longing,
tried to cure it, make it right,
but how it tugs me to my destined places
like a moon upon the tides,
how can the dream be broken
if the dreamer learns
these are the fires I poke in,
but I'm never burned.
Ebb and flowing of an ancient ocean,
oh the cosmic ballet ...
sweet dancing,
sweet dancing,
a dancer you must be
sick woman in a sick bed waiting
light fast fading in her eyes,
somewhere else another light is forming
turning into newborn cries
on the wind is sighing,
calling out our names
saying no, no there is no dying
only changing face
you my darling are the rest and motion
of the cosmic ballet ...
sweet dancing,
sweet dancing,
and dancers you shall be."

Unnatural Philosophy

YOu got some lunatic sage or gurning academic in your campaign and want some grand theory that they sacrifice time, money, and social tolerance for, which is DISREGARDING AND MOCKED, by the SUPPING SWINE at TEATS OF DEADS MANS BOOKS, scribbling antmen who have NO CURIOSITY OR FIRE to LIGHT THE DARK

Here are some ideas. And yeah , why not have them be true?

As always neither refuting

As always neither refuting nor endorsing real world faiths, just talking about gaming interest:

'Deep in the pagan forest
In a midnight summer's dream
Where the soul is a hearse of Tarot Cards
With the bones of the past picked clean
Dust riddles as old as time in the grove where the Great Oak stood
What has become of the Moonlight Queen cloaked in Her velvet hood?'

That does look great!

That does look great!

Saw Blade Runner 2049 today in IMAX, definitely worth the watch and extra ticket price IMO. I think it wouldn't be too hard to take some aspects of this and get a Planescape/Spelljammer adventure out of it?

Björk: The Gate

Björk: The Gate

https://www.nowness.com/story/bjork-the-gate-alessandro-michele-andrew-thomas-huang-james-merry

Quote:
“The Gate picks up where 2015's Vulnicura left off. It is the first glimpse into Björk's utopia. The doorway lies within the wound from Vulnicura, which now appears transformed into a prismatic portal channeled between the chests of two lovers. Not lovers in the quotidian romantic sense, but in a broader cosmological way. As a throughway into Bjork's new album, The Gate is a declaration of hope sung by a woman refracted and re-formed into a luminous whole.

“I am especially proud of this film as I feel it is a culmination of my five-year collaboration with Björk and James Merry. It's been such a nourishing three-way relationship and this film is the perfect synthesis of our brains and our hearts. Having Alessandro Michele's design as the centerpiece in this film is a dream.

“I want to give a special shout-out to my visual effects partners Wolf & Crow, who have pulled off an exceptional feat for this visually packed video. Building a world like this takes a village and I feel blessed to be in this company of artists.”
