The Lady of Pain's Key Keeper?

I stumbled over the attached card from the Bloodwars game.
Artus - The Lady of Pain's Key Keeper

The card stats him as chaotic good and with a powerful portal-related power. As it is a "warlord" card, he's probably a quite powerful NPC. Is this guy mentioned anywhere else in official publications or is this a unique card for the card game??

He's gotta be unique to the game. LoP's key keeper? I'd imagine that running around Sigil calling yourself that would a good way to end up flayed. Or at the very least, get yourself labelled as addle-coved.

I remember running into that

I remember running into that card way back when, and I think Artus served as inspiration for some of my current campaign ideas. Specifically, that he wasn't just another portal key broker, but rather he tended The Lady's Key. I have more ideas about how I plan on using him, but let me save that for later.

Officially, Artus appears in one source: A Guide to the Astral Plane, page 36. There are no stats for him, just a quote:

Quote:
"You must remember, my boy, fleshy bodies for gods are nothing more than a matter of convenience... The corpse of a god is not flesh. Flesh is inconsequential to divinity. The corpse of a god is memories, wars, heroes, regrets, sacrifices, prayers - the stuff of significance."
-Artus, a planewalker

Btw, if you ever have questions about PS canon, I always do a search over here first: http://www.rilmani.org/psIndex.txt It is a comprehensive index to all things Planescape.

Thanks for your responses!

Thanks for your responses! Would have been strange if I somehow had overlooked this guy over all the years.

Think I'm gonna ignore him. An addle-coved Lady's Jester is enough, no need for the addle-coved Lady's Key Keeper as well.

The Planescape Index ist great, thanks. I didn't know that one.

I really want to read Key

I really want to read Key Keeper in some kind of sly way that lets him believe he can get away with it, instead of some (self-appointed) office; but not being much of a wordsmith I'm having a hard time of it.

Key could mean fundamental, or essential, instead of the unlocky-thing, and Keeper could mean someone to cherish or hold on to instead of steward. Although I guess that interpretation would only make it more likely for him to get flayed...

Well, he actually looks

Well, he actually looks exactly like the human guise of the slaad lord Wartle on page 52 of "Tales from the Outer Planes"...
