welcome! PS can always use more stories!
An Introduction
I must apologize in advance: this will be perhaps among the most uninteresting (and egocentric) blog posts on this website.
I figured that my two-plus-year trend of never posting a single word on this site was one that I had to break. Not feeling right simply diving in (lest I start off on the wrong foot by a lack of tact or intelligence), I thought that I should begin by introducing myself.
Mythology has always fascinated me, and I was initiated to D&D when I was very young. I still retain an interest in mythology, and have since then developed a fondness for philosophy, psychology, and, most notably, stories. So, understandably, the Planescape setting has drawn me in.
I am an author, aspiring to write fantasy novels at the caliber of Ursela K. Le Guin and then some. I hope to hone my ability and get myself used to the painful process of writing with a deadline in mind by writing regular Planescape stories.
I have also been craving philosophical conversation, because most of the people I know are more comfortable with that which is concrete.
Although I have spent a great deal of time lurking on this website, I still feel as if my knowledge is insufficient. I just ordered the original Planescape Campaign Setting box set and am looking forward to vigorously cleaving its pages.
So... yes. Hello. How are you?
