Nonmagical Equipment

Cases

Jem's picture

A lot of adventurers, from the looks of their character sheets, carry everything they own and have nothing much invested in long-term assets. But you? You're a Cager, cutter!

Astralwood

joyblood's picture

"Astralwood grows on the dead bodies of the old Powers of Nature. It is no real wood, but a mixture of the God's essence and Astral energies. "I know of no effects bringing it to the Prime or Inner Planes; it slowly dissolves in the Ethereal; and it adapts in the Outer Planes. That is, wherever you bring it in the Outer Planes, it will not be harmed by the environment, and it will appear like an item crafted on that plane - so much that even spells consider it an original item of that plane. "That is what I know of Astralwood. Oh, and it is rare and expensive."

Nosferatutam

Bane's picture

This alchemical compound is a mixture of holy water, garlic, and various other herbs that the vampires are known to dislike. Additionally, it contains certain drugs to increase the concentration of these toxins in the blood, as well as to slow down their purge from the body. Drinking an ounce of nosferatutam makes a creature’s blood toxic to vampires. Alchemy craft DC:25

Black-Tinted Goggles

Fidrikon's picture

These black lensed goggles are vaugely similar to WWII aviator goggles, or thats what some primes once told me. Not every race that walks the planes is comfortable out in sunlight. For some, it can be downright lethal. Others, not so much. These black goggles are specifiacly designed for making the wearer immune to dazzling light effects. For most, it is merely a defense against annoying flare spells and bright lights. For those who have a neutral sensitivity to light, these are a necessitity, unless they do a lot of travel by night.

Spider Bracelet

Carnifex's picture

Although when sold in shops, or found amongst the rubble, these items appear to be bracelets shaped in the form of a spider, in acuality they are real living spiders. These spiders have evolved a highly specialised form of life. If one is placed over the wrist, then the spider will waken, and sink it's fangs into the wrist, thus starting it's symbiotic relationship with it's host (the spiders can easily be removed if so desired). The origins of these spiders is a mystery, though most sages believe that it is some as yet undocumented demi-plane.

Gloom Dust

Carnifex's picture

Gloom Dust is a strange poison, a gray powder distilled from the essence of the Gray Waste itself. Anyone exposed to the powder is affected as if they were exposed to the Waste itself; their senses become dulled and depressed to what is going on around them, as the powder temporarily leeches emotion out of them.
